OT....Best way to tel boss Im leaving!

Well, after 19 years in the same job,I have a new one,starting first of the year. My current boss is the owner of the place and annouced back in Sept, we would be closing due to foreign competion.Well,time has passed and we are now back at %100 for the most part and things look good for the company.I turned in my resume' at a company that has now offered me a job and I have accepted.(Guess I will have to give up Farmalls for Caterpillars)My boss is more than just my "boss".He is a very good friend and has been sorta like a father to me since my Dads passing 5 years ago.I feel very fortunate to have worked for him all these years.This is really the first "job" I have had,not counting BK,grocery store and the like.Those I just left or got fired so i dont count them as a job.So what I would like are a few suggestions on how to let him know Im leaving!
