Am I thinking correctly that the 1010 had the 115 CI gas engine? Just a hair bigger than the 113 CI's in a 420. I don't know much about the 115 engine but have worked with the 145 and 165 engine in combines and they are dang near bullet proof. If the 115 went out I would put a combine engine in it and be good to go. The 40 and 45 combines used HA 145G and HA 165G engines.
